The
Indians had their annual trip to play games on Doubleday Field in
Cooperstown on July 8th and 9th, 2008. A team of nine players
drawn from all three of our teams won a come from behind 5 – 4 victory
in the first game. The victory was sealed by a dramatic play at
the plate in the top of the 7th inning with the tag being made at home
after two great relay throws to nab the runner. Playing against a
17/18 year old team in the second game the group lost by a close
score of 7 to 4. The players who went received t-shirts for their
commitment to the organization.
