THE
SOUTH SHORE INDIANS BASEBALL CLUB 2010 INDIANS FALL FACT SHEET
We will be playing in the FABL. Games are generally in Nassau County with some games in Suffolk County.
The season will start Sunday, September 12 and ends on Sunday, October 31. We play on Columbus Day weekend.
Games
are Sunday double headers. There are 8 double headers scheduled
for a total of 16 games. Rainouts are not usually rescheduled.
Most teams play 12 to 14 games during the Fall.
Tryouts will be part of our team practices now through August.
Teams
will be formed as if we were playing next Spring/Summer. For
example current 12 year olds will be playing as 13 year olds on 90 foot
bases. If you have a question on this call 516-826-9889. All teams are
formed this way so you will still be playing in your age group.
The cost for the season will be $250. This includes all fees for the umpires, league, field rental, baseballs and insurance.
The
cost for the uniform is $55 and is not included in the fee. It includes
a red t-shirt, velcro hat, gray pants, red belt and socks. Uniforms
must be paid for at the time of ordering.
